I am not sold on the concept and value of BP. The packaging, blurb, photography and advertising is great and I admit I enjoy the buzz of receiving the package once a month. But I'm not sold on the monthly subscription model and the restrictive spending limits which feel like a way to artificially force people to keep renewing or increasing their membership in order to be able to "afford" the products they want because BP knows consumers would try a bunch of products all in one go and not return to keep spending. Not a scam, but feels inauthentic. I also found a lot of products were out of stock - and always for 3 months, which is the minimum term for a membership, which feels like a way to keep people renewing their membership in order to get their hands on a product that's been out of stock and will come back into stock one month after their 3 months ends. I had a £20 per month membership and I was able to average 4 products each month (I bought strategically to make the most of my allowance and got a £150 spending bonus in my first month so have amassed a decent amount of products), but anything less than that and what you can buy is VERY restricted. One cream has a "Typical Price" of £100 - if you have a £5 per month membership you only have a £50 spending limit so can't afford to purchase it without saving your allowance and having it roll over to top up to £100 the following month. This means that for two out of the three months minimum term membership you've only got one product to show for it. So if you want to keep trying products it almost forces you to either increase your membership (which many people may not be able to do), or you have to keep renewing your membership and having it roll over. I personally think this is disingenuous and I find it off-putting. I also don't feel like the products I've tried are worth the value of the "Typical Price" they are marketed at. The packaging is repetitive across the ranges. They have a set range of packaging styles which they change the branding on (I understand this is cost saving - buy one tube style en-masse and put a different product line sticker on but I find it cheapens the product overall). The active ingredients in all products are in very low amounts and far down the list of ingredients. These things are the measures of a luxury product - the ground-up research over years, sourcing and the quality & quantity of the ingredients, the art design of the packaging the education of the staff - BP just knocks off high-end brands, copies their recipes and reduces the quality of the ingredients. This is where the saving is found to make BP products "cheap", not by "cutting out the middle man". BP is a good concept if you want to get a collection of skincare that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to understand, but it is in no way "luxury" without the luxury prices. Save the money you'd spend on the membership and the products each month and put it towards one really good luxury skincare product each month, instead of several average, or sub-par products. Overall, I would not recommend.

Not bad but not great. Not all it is cracked up to be. Just another membership beauty subscription!

Amazing products and great customer service. I love their super retinol range. I would highly rcommend them!

I love the products and I especially love the fact you can speak to a person to discuss anything! Well done for that too

Absolutely amazing products! Easy to find the one that suits given the wide range of products. Got addicted- Love it!

Just love this company and every one of the products I have tried. Complete convert - excellent value for money, can’t wait to receive my next order, can see the results of their skin care on a daily basis. I surprisingly LOVE IT despite having always had a soap and water little fuss beauty routine.

Decent products but let down by terrible customer care and service when things go wrong. Really disappointed after having been a member for over a year and spending hundreds of pounds with them.

I think Beauty Pie is a good idea - however.... I take issue with the idea that this is in any way good value for money. Once you take into account that most things are actually £5 - £10 MORE than advertised because you have to pay you membership fee each month, I don't actually think products are any better value (and in many cases worse) than other brands. I also find it really disingenuous that many products are artificially inflated - and saying the high street price would be £100. This is just rubbish. Yes - perhaps in rare cases there maybe brands catering to the super rich that charge silly money for their face cream/ supplement etc. But in all case you can find decent quality products at a 1/3 of this. Take their silk eye mask or silk pillow. A quick google search will find you some lovely options for LESS than their membership rate. Plus I also am not convinced by the quality. They use paraffin wax in their candles (they call it mineral wax - which is another term for paraffin). We all know that this type of wax is carcinogenic. Add into this their appalling stock management and I really just don't think this is worth the money or the bother.

Delivery was much quicker than I was expecting. Removed one star as I couldn’t get one of the products recommended to me in the skin consultation.
